of All of the Humans Photography

A little bit about me: I’ve had the opportunity to photograph families and weddings since 2011.

I recently relocated from Dallas, Texas to the peaceful countryside of South Gloucestershire. This year, I’m launching my photography business in the UK, serving couples and families across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath — and continuing to offer fall sessions in Dallas–Fort Worth each October.

As someone who values being present and emotional depth, I specialize in creating timeless, refined imagery filled with soul. My work is designed for couples who cherish artistry, legacy, and genuine connection, those who want their story told with care, intention, and a deep respect for the moments that matter. Whether I’m photographing a quiet glance or a grand celebration, I’m always looking for the connectivity in the real.

My approach is very individualized. No client is just a client, but perhaps a bride looking to carve out an important part of her story, a child looking to be understood, a sibling wanting a voice, or a parent holding moments in time… all beautifully human.

A little insight into Sophie:

  • I shoot using Canon. My first camera was a Canon back in 2008 & what it does for your skin is just *chef’s kiss*.

  • I’m a mother of four. We also fostered for 6 years.

  • My husband and I officially got married in Gibraltar (the only place a Brit and an American on a visa can fly in, get married and fly out within 24 hours).

  • I like humans, mornings, big dogs, whiskey, croissants, warm hues, folding laundry & to do lists.

  • I dislike snails, iced tea, how much I kill plants, and Hershey's chocolate.

  • My favorite moments of any session, like life, are the in between moments. It’s that half of a second when a child clings a little longer, a hair gets gently brushed away from her face, or the knowing smile traded between the two of you. That is what I live to capture.
