A little bit about me: I’ve had the opportunity to photograph families and weddings since 2011. Connection and others feeling seen and understood are embedded in the creativity of my work. I’m based out of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas but I’m also booking sessions for the PNW and United Kingdom for 2023.

I moved to Texas in 2014 with my husband and 3 boys, living in Seattle and England (where I’m from) before that. Being a foster parent and mother changed my approach to this job. It has become more individualized. No client is just a client, but also a child looking to be understood, a sibling wanting a voice, a parent holding moments in time… all beautifully human.

A little insight into who I am:

  • I still have my British accent even though I’ve lived in the US for 10 years & I get mistaken for Australian just about every week.
  • I shoot using Canon. My first camera was a Canon back in 2008 & what it does for your skin is just *chef’s kiss*.
  • I’m a mother of all boys and former teacher.
  • My husband and I officially got married in Gibraltar (the only place a Brit and an American on a visa can fly in, get married and fly out within 24 hours).
  • I like humans, mornings, big dogs, whiskey, croissants, warm hues, folding laundry & to do lists.
  • I dislike snails, iced tea, how much I kill plants, and Hershey's chocolate.
  • My favorite moments of any session, like life, are the in between moments. It’s that half of a second when a child clings a little longer, a hair gets gently brushed away from her face, or the knowing smile traded between the two of you. That is what I live to capture.
